Digital Land Acknowledgement
We live and work on the ancestral lands of the Massachuset people and others. But so much of our activities occur in the digital realm, we invite you to consider the legacies of colonization embedded in the technologies, structures, and ways of thinking we use every day. The digital tools we rely on are not available in many Indigenous communities. The technologies we employ to make our work have significant carbon footprints, contributing to climate change that disproportionately affect Indigenous people all over the world. We acknowledge this, and ask that you join us in considering our shared responsibility to practice the ongoing work of reconciliation, decolonization, and allyship.
