Giving Back

As a public benefit corporation, we reserve a percentage of the profit of every project that we work on to make gifts to local arts and cultural sector non profits and we develop free experiences for people, organizations, or communities who can’t afford them. This means that when you pay us, you’re helping to pay extraordinary creative experiences forward. We hope that feels as good to you as it does to us.

We are delighted to announce the recipients of our 2022 Give Back program. This year we are proud to support three BIPOC led organizations that advance the work and training of emerging digital storytellers, artists, and arts managers of color. These three organizations work hard to create equitable advocacy and opportunities that bring about transformative social change. We encourage you to learn more about these amazing folks.

Doneeca Thurston,
Public Benefit Director

Doneeca Thurston, Director of Lynn Museum/LynnArts, serves as our Public Benefit Director. Her insightful leadership helps guide our annual public benefit goals and maintain our company’s social accountability. Following her graduation with an M.A. in Public History in 2014 from Northeastern University, Doneeca went on to become a Creative Engagement Producer at the Peabody Essex Museum. After coordinating and assisting with hundreds of public programs, enriching traditional and diverse audiences, participating on local arts councils and community committees, and helping spearhead the institution’s equity and inclusion efforts, Doneeca left PEM to become the first Director of color, and the youngest Director, for the Lynn Museum/LynnArts. Having grown up in Lynn, Doneeca has always set her sights on opportunities to engage her home community and is focusing her efforts in this role on elevating and empowering marginalized voices, developing community ownership of shared spaces, and diversifying the talent pool for the Museum and Nonprofit sectors.
