Susanna is a poet and intrepid wordsmith who loves collaborating with others to create expressive texts. She has published (so far) 42 poems in literary journals and is shopping around a book manuscript titled What the Lake Knows. Her work, featured on Poetry Daily and American Life in Poetry, has earned two emerging artist grants. When writing for museums, Susanna likes exploring what happens when words leave the page and join works of art in a gallery space. In her extensive editorial experience, she has worked on novels, memoirs, poetry collections, works on art and architecture, and children’s books. Susanna enjoys tinkering with form, tone, and tempo to see what the endlessly malleable word, phrase, and sentence can do next.
