CREATIVE PARTNER

Corbett Sparks

Corbett Sparks was born in Texas and raised on a steady diet of science fiction, contemporary art, and barbeque. An illustrator and watercolorist, his favorite subjects center around his fascination with the animal kingdom and all the weirdness and science therein. He’s also the one you want in your corner when it comes to audio and video: he has over twelve years of experience as an audio/visual specialist, and is a DJ, musician, and multimedia producer and editor. Corbett designed and implemented soundscapes and sound effects for multiple original exhibitions at the Peabody Essex Museum, and made concerts, film screenings, and performances go off without a hitch at the Dallas Museum of Art. Creating the immersive sound for It’s Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art from the Kirk Hammett Collection in 2017 was a career highlight, bringing together his love of movies, music, and art into one glorious exhibition. Corbett received his BFA from the University of North Texas and was a member of the Good/Bad Art Collective, an avant garde art cooperative that designed happenings centered around exhibitions, installations, performances, and pranks. That background has made TEA a professional dream come true: collaborating with driven, creative people to make experiential, goal-driven projects come to life.
